Questions & answers

Everything about getting set up, live help during interviews, mock interviews, minutes and privacy.

Getting started

What is Ansivio?

Ansivio is an AI interview copilot. Before an interview, Mock Interview lets you practise out loud with an AI interviewer and get coaching on every answer. During an interview, Start Interview listens for the interviewer’s questions and shows you an answer, written the way you would say it.

How much does it cost?

Every new account gets 30 minutes free to use, with every feature included and no credit card. See the Pricing page for how minutes are counted.

How do I create an account?

Choose “Try free” and sign up with Google, or with your name, a username, email, phone number and a password. If you sign up with email, we send a confirmation link; open it to activate your account, then sign in.

What should I set up first?

Create a workspace for the job you are interviewing for and add three things: the job requirements, your resume, and your own instructions (for example which projects to highlight or how long answers should be). The more the AI knows, the more the answers sound like you.

Which browsers work?

Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a laptop or desktop. They include the speech recognition Ansivio uses to listen. Other browsers can still type questions and use Mock Interview by typing.

Start Interview (live help)

How does Start Interview work?

Pick your workspace, confirm that AI assistance is allowed in your interview, and press Start listening. When the interviewer asks a question, an answer appears in seconds: a direct answer first, then an example from your own experience. Only you can see the screen.

What if the interviewer interrupts or adds to the question?

Ansivio keeps the recent conversation in mind. A follow-up or interruption right after a question is treated as part of that question, and the answer is updated to cover both.

Will it answer my own voice?

When you read an answer out loud, Ansivio recognises the words from the answer on screen and labels that line as you, so it is not treated as a new question.

Can it help with coding or diagram questions shown on screen?

Yes. Use “Capture shared screen” to take a screenshot of the interviewer’s shared screen; the next answer takes the code, diagram or problem statement into account.

Do the answers sound like AI?

Answers are written to sound like you talking: first person, everyday words, no lists or robotic phrases, and real examples from your resume. Ansivio never invents employers, projects or numbers you did not provide.

Mock Interview (practice)

How does Mock Interview work?

Choose one of your workspaces, or type any position such as “.NET Developer” or “Power BI Developer”, and press Prepare me. The interviewer asks a question out loud and waits for your answer. When you answer, it reacts and moves on like a real interviewer, and coaching on your answer appears alongside.

What if I don’t know the answer?

Stay quiet for 30 seconds, say “how to answer”, or press How to answer. Ansivio explains how to answer the question, reads it out, and shows it in full. Then go to the next question when you are ready.

What feedback do I get?

For every answer: what worked, two or three specific ways to make it stronger, and a stronger version of your answer in your own voice.

Can I review earlier questions?

Yes. Use Previous and Next to move through the questions. Every mock interview is saved to your account, so you can reopen it later or continue where you left off.

Which voices can the interviewer use?

Four natural voices: Ava and Andrew (American English) and Neerja and Prabhat (Indian English). Choose one and preview it in Settings.

Can I use voice commands?

Yes: “next”, “previous”, “how to answer”, “repeat”, “skip” and “stop”.

Languages

Can I be interviewed in Telugu or Hindi?

Ansivio understands questions in English, Telugu and Hindi, including mixed or imperfect English and questions that get cut off. Answers are always in English. Choose the interview language in Settings.

Minutes and your account

How are minutes counted?

Only while Start Interview is listening or a Mock Interview is running. Setting up workspaces, changing settings and reading your history never use minutes. Your remaining minutes are shown at the top of the screen and on your dashboard.

What happens when my minutes run out?

Live listening and mock interviews pause, and everything you created stays in your account. Email aindla816@gmail.com to add more minutes.

I didn’t get the confirmation email.

Check your spam or junk folder. On the sign-in page, try signing in and choose “Resend the link”, or sign up again with the same email to get a new link. Links work for 24 hours.

Privacy

Is my data private?

Your workspaces, resume, conversation history and mock interviews belong to your account and are visible only to you. Audio is transcribed by your browser; only the question text (and a screenshot, if you take one) is sent to the AI.

Is it OK to use AI in an interview?

Only use Start Interview where AI assistance is permitted, and make sure everyone whose voice is transcribed has agreed. Ansivio asks you to confirm this every time before it listens.

Troubleshooting

The microphone isn’t working.

Allow the microphone for this site (the padlock icon next to the address), check the right microphone is selected in your system settings, then press Start listening again.

The first action took a few seconds.

After a quiet period the service takes a few seconds to wake up. Everything is quick after that.
